DETAILS:
WATER: The Puerto Vallarta municipal city water supply is held to a high standard of purity and is safe for direct consumption. Risks of contamination include building piping (not at AVIDA), water handling, and serving containers.
WATER @ AVIDA
-
The water source for AVIDA is Puerto Vallarta municipal water.
-
Within the parking garage level at AVIDA is a water purification system which uses a 3-step process (filtration, Reverse Osmosis, UV sterilization) to further assure a purified water supply for the entire AVIDA building.
WATER IN AVIDA 416 (CASA|AZUR):
The water dispensed from the refrigerator and the ice made in the freezer pass through the refrigerator’s built-in filtration.
The cold water at the kitchen faucet is additionally filtered.
ICE: Most bars, restaurants and stores which sell ice in PV, have ice made from purified water. Tube shaped ice is a good sign!
FOOD and FOOD HANDLING: Foreign bacteria is just that – foreign to your system and may or may not cause issues. If you purchase any fruits or vegetables, it is HIGHLY recommended to thoroughly wash before consuming. Microdyne is a popular cleanser used by most restaurants and is provided for your convenience in the cabinet below the kitchen sink.
